Hi! I'm Yigit, the g is silent :)
I'm a PhD Candidate in computer engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) under the supervision of Dr. Pelin Angin. I'm also a part of the Wireless Systems, Networks and Cybersecurity (WINS) Lab.
My main research interest is cloud security. I'm also interested in internet privacy, cryptography, system security and related areas in cybersecurity.
I also contribute to open source software and maintain package builds for Arch Linux. I particularly enjoy programming in Rust and assigning unorthodox homework for my students, see Gradecoin for my favorite example.
